WTN: Lay of the land

• 2022 Wwe. Dr. H. Thanisch (Erben-Thanisch) Bernkasteler Lay Riesling Kabinett Cuvée Christina - Germany, Mosel Saar Ruwer (1/31/2026)
  Such a pretty wine. It’s on the rich side for Kabinett, but not to full on Spätlese level. Peachy fruit with a finishing zing of acidity that cleans things up. It was a pleasant partner to our Indian dinner, and a refreshing post dinner drink.

That sounds excellent, particularly for a '22 where I've been less than excited by the pradikat wines.

Me too, and so this was a treat. Maybe the wines just need a little time. That’s been the case in the past (e.g., 1997).
