2015 COS Nero di Lupo - this Nero d'Avola showed slight brett, good cherry fruit, medium body, decent length. A pleasant and slightly unusual wine.

COS is good, though I prefer Occhipinti.

Have generally liked COS wines but was disappointed in the '22 I owned and opened in '25. "Light bodied...tilted more toward acidity than fruit, and what fruit there is isn't especially interesting. Okay with food, but meh as a sipper." It certainly didn't seem like a wine that could bridge 11 years like yours did!

In a battle of Occhipintis, I'll take COS's Frappato over Arianna's, but I prefer her SP68 rosso to monovarietal Frappato regardless. I also suspect that her uncle isn't as fun at a party as she is, which all things considered might be a good thing.
