- 2015 Domaine Michel Lafarge Bourgogne - France, Burgundy, Bourgogne (2/11/2026)
I pulled this from the cold cellar almost two years ago, and it got kind of lost in the “drink now” area of the basement. Well have no fear, as it’s still quite young, with firm tannins and ample fruit, though there is some forest floor complexity emerging. It’s a really good wine if you prefer the sterner side of Bourgogne which I do. Probably needs five more years to really develop. That’s 2015 for you.

Even Lafarge's PTG "L'Exception" requires several years in the cellar before it's ready for prime time.
