More skizzleget from TheBloodyPulpit:
1. The Chevalier white is made from the rare Sauvignon Gris grape. A pink-skinned mutation of SauvBlanc. Grown in the mouth region of the Loire....in Muscadet country. It was a rather interesting wine w/ a bit of coarseness to it.
Rossese is one of my favorite grapes. There are a number of different Italian varieties that go under the name of Rossese. Mostly they come from Liquria.
