Tried these two over the last few days:
1. Domaine Weinbach GWT AC: Vin de Alsace les Treilles du Loup (13%; Vineyard Brands/Birmingham/AL) Famille Faller/Kayserberg 2023: Med.gold color; beautiful very strong GWT/very spicy nutmeg/cinammon/floral/gardenias light mineral bit restrained/subtle slight pencilly very complex nose; lightly tart very rich/lush very strong very spicy/nutmeg/cinammon very floral/gardenias totally dry but not austere flavor; very long/lingering very spicy/GWT finish that mocks flavor; a very big/rich rich/lush almost Vendange Tardive GWT but w/o the in-your-face cheap hair oil character; should go out 10-20 yrs; one of the best Alsatian GWT's I've had in a number of yrs. $46.00 (SFW&S)

More spurtleklick from TheBloodyPulpit:
1. Pretty blown away by the Weinbach. Definitely of the VT level, but reasonably priced.
The Nebbs of Arturo Pelizzatti were the first wines that made me a lover of Valtelline wines back in the early '70's. Unfortunately, his family sold the family name to Nino Negri & I didn't think they were up to snuff of the original wines. Haven't seen a Pelezzatti wines in quite a few yrs. It's now merely a Negi brand label. The original wnry was resurrected under the Ar.Pe.Pe name and are now some of the best Nebbs from the Valtelline. But expensive.
