1998 Yalumba Cabernet Sauvignon The Menzies - my last bottle and incorrectly noted by others in Cellar Tracker as being hors de combat some time ago. Deep colour, bricking just at the edges, a nose that defies the American oak era - age seems to have muted the coconut/dill notes often found, and fruit was still evident. I daresay that I liked it better in relative senescence than in youth.
