- 2014 Reichsrat Von Buhl Forster Pechstein Riesling Großes Gewächs - Germany, Pfalz (3/26/2026)
Opened to pair with a sashimi dinner, this was still quite youthful, with crisp fruit, and only a hint of bottle development. Still in the austere mold it was best with the fattier pieces of fish, as the acidity, and the citrus fruit played off the richness of the sashimi.

Interesting, I guess you might have wanted more development, but sounds like it was a great match at the table.
