Tried this wine last night:
1. Kellerei Bozen Puntscheit Kerner Dd'OC: Sudtirol/AltaAdige (13.5%; Matchvino/Sharon/CN) Cantina Bolzano Coop/Bolzano 2024: Light gold color; some stony/mineral/flinty some perfumed/aromatic/floral/Kerner/carnations slight metallic fairly attractive nose; fairly tart/metallic bit rustic some floral/carnations/Kerner somewhat briney/savory/metallic totally dry rather pleasant flavor; med.long tart/savory/floral/Kerner finish that mimics flavor; a quite pleasant example of Kerner; not a lot of high-toned fruit but a pretty/savory white; speaks of Kerner from the Sudtirol. $28.00 (SFW&S)

More diddlefurk from TheBloodyPulpit:
1. Kerner is a cross of Trollinger & Riesling developed in 1929. Mostly found in the Val d'Isarco. Never very profound, but it does make a fairly pleasant/savory white.
