2014 Domaine Labet Poulsard Sur
CharriA"re
- France, Jura, CA'tes du Jura (5/7/2026)
I don't remember what I paid for this, but it sure wasn't the US$150-200 it seems to go for now. Considerable deposit, decantation required. Not really orange but not really red either. Band aid, not that aromatically forthcoming. Acidic, the skin contact isn't overwhelming so there's some fruit, but overall it leans too far in the "weird" direction for my taste. I should have given this to someone who would have enjoyed it. Good+.

10.3! Even for Poulsard that is low. But I think it really is a red wine, not an orange. That's just Poulsard. Sorry you didn't like more, but those wines can be challenging.
