2017 Domaine Bernard Baudry Chinon Les Granges - Chinon is a cabernet franc based wine made in the Loire. Not as popular here as Bordeaux and such, but nonetheless they produce some very decent wines. This one was typical, showing more red fruit than dark and some earthy notes, a medium colour, good fruit levels and well balanced. Medium length finish with some black olive evident near the end. Very decent showing.

I missed the Granges in 2017, opting for more Grezeaux.

I should open one soon.
