Gave this a quick double decant then let it sit in the bottle for another hour before pouring. Beautiful dark ruby color, lots of dark red fruit and floral aromatics made it very pleasing to just swirl and sniff. Finally got around to tasting, and the flavors aligned well with the aromatics, supported by moderate tannin. I suspect it’s still a bit early for this, but it provided an enjoyable drinking experience nonetheless.
