2015 Vini Franchetti Passopisciaro Passorosso - this Sicilian (Etna) Nerello Mascalese was an unusual wine - lighter in colour than many reds and a slightly sweet nose of cherry and strawberry (not raspberry as it wasn't that sweet a nose). In the mouth it was sweet and long, like a pinot noir but also very different. Delightful wine that I'll revisit soon - I ordered a sixpack of the 2025 from Alberta as it isn't available here in B.C. right now.
