DryCreekVnyd SauvBlanc DCV3/DryCreekVlly (12.0%; Clones 1/21; Vine age 14 yrs; Hrvst Sept 3 2025; 100%NSS frmt/no oak aging; TA: 0.71%; SaH: 20.7 Brix; 362 cs) Healdsburg 2025: Light yellow color; clean/fresh lightly herbal/SB lightly floral/lemony/slight gardenias light mineral/steely fairly attractive SB nose; quite tart/tangy/bit steely fairly strong SB/herbal light floral/marigolds flavor; long steely/herbal finish that tracks flavor; a bright/clean/brisk herbal/SB; not as earthy/mineral as French versions & reminds some of Sudtirol SB more than anything. $35.00/$28.00 (VSP)

DryCreekVnyd Chard RRV (13.0%; Dijon clones 4/18; w-c pressed; 89% brl frmt/42% ML; TA: 0.64% SaH: 22.8 Brix; 730 cs) 2024: Light gold color; strong ripe/melony/Chard/almondy bit appley modest pencilly/Fr.oak slight buttery/cinammon attractive/pretty Chard nose; lightly tart/tangy rather apple/pear/melong/Chard light pencilly/Fr.oak/caramel balanced modest flavor; med.long tart/melony/Chard light pencilly finish that mocks flavor; a rather pleasant/balanced expression of Chard; would like a bit more intensity/richness/minerality/oak character & more Rombauer-like character; a pretty/modest Chard but just that. $47.00/$37.60 (VSP)

1. These both were rather pretty modest expressions of the grape variety and quite pleasant drinking. But they were not particularly distinctive nor interesting. Nice wines, but just that.
