- 2015 Domaine Denis Bachelet Bourgogne - France, Burgundy, Bourgogne (5/22/2026)
2015 has been a tough vintage. The last few Bourgogne and Village wines I opened were rather stern to say the least. This wine was not that way. Exuberant spice and still vibrant fruit - this developed exactly the way I would have written it up. Tasted more like a Vosne 1er than Bourgogne. Wonderful surprise.

My first thought was that you were drinking Clos St Denis. But this works too!
