  • 2022 Weingut Max Ferd. Richter Brauneberger Juffer Riesling Kabinett Faß 4 - Germany, Mosel Saar Ruwer (6/29/2026)
    Just barely starting to come out of its shell, the baby fat has somewhat faded, revealing more of the structure, which properly balances the moderate residual sugar. I suspect another 3-5 years of cellaring will reveal a more complex and complete wine, but it’s at least fun to drink now.

Juffer is my favorite vineyard from Richter.
