I should not have spent so much time microanalyzing this wine, but I was having a good time, so…

It’s about the color of Hawaiian Punch, but this ain’t no kids drink. Bright cherry fruit, backed up by ripe watermelon gets electric acidity support over a salty (yes!) herbal base. It took me a long time to pinpoint that cherry note, as it was dancing around my brain, looking for a (very hard to find) spot to latch on. It finally hit me as ultra pure maraschino cherry, and once that was clear everything else fell into place. Lip smackingly good.
