WTN: Loire rose and Italian bubbles

Teriyaki salmon, rice with furikake, Swiss chard with pinenuts and golden raisins, summer squash
2025 Baudry Chinon Rose
Strawberry and sweet cherry, orange zest, a light oregano-ish herb note. Bright acids, clean chalky finish. B++

Sopa de Fideos with extra lime, spinach, salad
2013 Enrico Serafino Alta Langa Brut
Softer mousse, but good backend acids, apple and pear with a touch of gingery spice. The dosage is a little more than I personally want, but decent clean Piemonte sparkler. B/B-

Grade disclaimer: I'm a very easy grader, basically A is an excellent wine, B a good wine, C drinkable. Anything below C means I wouldn't drink at a party where it was the only choice. Furthermore, I offer no promises of objectivity, accuracy, and certainly not of consistency.

Love that Baudry rose! Always one I buy if I see it.
My wine shopping and I have never had a problem. Just a perpetual race between the bankruptcy court and Hell.--Rogov
