Lovely evening on the river for park concert. No time to cook, I carried pate de campagne, smoked fish, salad, and cheeses..

2024 Lagar de Pintos Albarino (Val do Salnés)
Grapefruit, orange zest, lemongrass. Nicely balanced with nice wet rock finish. Tangy and long. Good value. B+

2021 Stephane Aviron Morgon Cote du Py
Good fruit, good acids, light tannins, but a little short on finish keeps it from being top tier. B

2023 Veronique et Pascal Bellier Cherveney Rouge

Light, bright, black raspberry and cassis, tree bark. B+

Blind white- floral, musky, soft. Canned pears and melon. I guessed Grenache blanc from Languedoc (based on who offered) 2023 Vignerons d'Estezargues Cotes du Rhone Blanc C+

Great food (grey sole, roast chicken, oysters, etc) this weekend but no wine as I realized I need to drop 5 pounds.

Grade disclaimer: I'm a very easy grader, basically A is an excellent wine, B a good wine, C drinkable. Anything below C means I wouldn't drink at a party where it was the only choice. Furthermore, I offer no promises of objectivity, accuracy, and certainly not of consistency.
