Really interesting wine. Good balance between the full body and the bright acidity, but what really stood out for me was the iron core of the wine. It tasted almost as if someone had dissolved an I-beam into it during fermentation. I’ve only encountered such ferrous intensity in Syrah before, so it was very surprising, but still delicious. I will be very curious to see how this wine evolves over the next several years.
