More apribiddle from TheBloodyPulpit:
1. Adam makes a basic Ojao White and Ojai Red. After bttling his single varietal wines, he takes the dregs from the barrel, blending them all together, runs them thru a filter, and sells them off at a cheap price. Over the yrs, I've found them to be some great values.
The Brick Barn Vnyd is a new source for Adam's Viog. Before, it has always come from the RollRanch Vnyd but that Viog has been pulled. That wine tended, because of the warmer climate, more towards the DollyParton-style of Viog. This is quite a departure from that style of his RollRanch Viog.
Apricots: Adam's original Apricots was mostly old-vine Zin from RollRanch. Named after the tank cart on RollRanch next to the highway advertising their apricots orchard. The first Teroldego made in Calif was by JimClendennen at ABC. He then turned over the Teroldego project to his niece Marissa. This is Adam's first Tero and presumably from those same grapes. Teroldego is not a hot-selling item but is certainly one of my favorite grape varieties. Elisabetta Foradori is the standard by which all Teroldegos are measured.
