Cantina & Prie Anfosso Rossese di Dolcacqua/Liguria (13%; Grandes Places Slctns/Truckee) Anfosso Lorenzo/Soldano 2022: Med.light color; somewhat herbal/pungent/briney/saline fairly floral/aromatic/cherry blossom/cherry lightly earthy/dusty bit complex lovely perfumed nose; lightly tart/tannic lightweight quite floral/cherry blossom/cherry some earthy/dusty/mineral/stonu rather brisk/wirey some complex flavor w/ modest brisk tannins; very long lightweight brisk/cherry/floral/cherry blossom finish w/ light brisk tannins; a lovely floral/mineral lightweight easy-drinking red along the lines of a Piemonte Brachetto. $34.00 (KL)

1. Rossese is primarily grown along the coast of Liguria in NW Italy. Across the border in France, it is known as Tibouren, but you seldom see those wines. It is one of my favorite obscure Italian grapes because of it strong aromatic floral character. Don't think any has been brought into the US. Sam Bilbro...here's your calling!!
