Costieres de Nimes.

100 per cent Syrah.

Very dark purple, almost black, in the glass.

A rich nose, with berry fruit, earth and leather.

Very rich and robust in the mouth, spicy, fleshy black cherries, blackberries and blueberries, leather, loads of herbs and garrigue, tangy acidity to keep everything clean and edgy.

A very nice bottle of wine.

Purchased at $17.95 (Canadian).
