Noticed a bottle of the 2004 for sale in a local wine merchant. I'm just now experimenting with Rhone, so... ????

As a matter of fact, yes. This is a pretty nice wine if you like a mixed red/black fruit profile with peppery nuances. The tannins are pretty soft -- it is approachable now and may not be a long ager (6-8 yrs.?)
