I just recently picked up some 2003 Rieussec half bottles that I had bought on futures and I noticed that the bottles definitely have two main labels. One is the classic Rieussec label with the crown and the second is a more modern style label.
Has anyone seen this before? Why two main labels on the bottle?

Haven't seen the bottle you are talking about, but could they be labels for different markets, e.g they'd already labelled the bottle for the EU market then switched the consignemt to the USA so needed a USA compliant label which they added?
Or maybe someone put the wrong roll on the labelling machine instead of the back label
