A really strange Spanish wine was tried and generally disliked tonight. Black coloring with a hint of red. Not a lot on the nose. On the palette, black and red fruit in balance, but this strange wine had a very strong ANISE (Licorice) flavor. Did not like this one at all, but it was intellectually intriguing. *
