2004 Sea Smoke “Ten” Pinot Noir SRH
I think this is the first 04 I have had. It has a smokey charcoal like nose mixed with dark fruit. Very nice. Delicious attack. Bursting with fruit. Sweet acids and sweet fruit but not overly cloying. But the finish is simple, hot and short. Very tasty and I have to give it high marks for the nose and front palate. This wine is not a great value though and I would drink now. I think it will fade into an alcoholic mess before too long but maybe … just maybe it will even out and develop. I will not take that risk with my last bottle. 88 pts
