2005 Domaine Chantemerle Boudin Chablis Burgundy France. Chambers Street Wines New York. $19.99. Lyle/Asimov bottle. Imported by Michael Skurnik, Syosset, NY. 12.5% Alcohol. Almost white color, clear hue, very pretty floral aormas, restrained but addictive flavors of light fruit, spice, minerals, an impression of sweetness, but it certainly isn't sweet, light mouth feel, short finish with fruit and spice and mineral notes. Odd, cloying note on the finish, after the first hour. 3*+.

Regards, Bob

Notes: "A very promising young Chablis, showing typical stony, austere fruit but with more concentration and length than usual in this bottling.' David Lillie.
