2002 Albert Boxler Pinot Blanc Reserve - France, Alsace, Alsace AOC (7/4/2007)
Smoky citrus and apple on the nose & just a hint of r/s on the palate give this great balance and drinkability. It's delicious now & has the fruit to hold on for another couple of years. Yummy & full of bright fruity character over a mineral base. One of the best Pinot Blancs I have ever tasted.

Have you tried the 2004 or 2005 yet? I can't find the 2002 but these other two are available.

Haven't seen those in my market, but given the overall quality of the 2004 and 2005 vitnages for Boxler I would go for it.

By the way - night two this was really singing with even greater fruit. Surprising for 5 year old Pinot Blanc.
