He echoes a complaint that I (and many others) have been making for years. What he touches on lies (I think) at the heart of the matter: so many of the vignerons of the CdR (and elsewhere in France) own and farm their own vineyards and aren't in debt over the purchase of their vineyards. How many CA wineries are family-run operations with low overhead? (Yes, there are some but they are the small minority).
