Previous bottle tasted in January and I recently posted notes here on the `06 vintage. Have to say I prefer this vintage but not by much, I just found the `06 a tad too acidic for my taste (sweet tooth?).

SC, 13.5%alc, very pale straw color with no real depth at all. The `06 was quite watery compared to this one. On the nose, fresh cut damp grass, herbal, pungent with tons of gooseberry.
Initial mouthfeel entry was citrus, gooseberry, passionfruit. Was served way too chilled but in time showed terrific acidity and a tad more tropical fruit this time around. The sweet pea was still there and wine showed more ripeness after an hour and hints of kiwi and grapefruit. Very complex wine here, not for those who are Monkey Bay fans (no emails please)!!

What about people who love Pomelo?
