Stuart,

I made this for lunch today--fabulous. I made one change, well, two.

I added crushed garlic and the real fish eggs.

Never will understand why non meat eaters keep seeking meat-like foods, but that must be my hang-up ;)

And to those who don't like Brussels Sprouts: who cares what you think? I've got tons of them from my garden and I'm going to eat them all.

Can't argue with those enhancements. 8)

As to your other point, we can certainly start another thread on "Why vegetarians might want to eat products which resemble dead animal stuff." It might be an interesting discussion, especially because our only vegetarians here are decidedly non-militant.

Nothing personal but....Ack.

Careful, Tim. Looks like a few around here take our dislike of BS quite seriously. But who cares what they think?

Pardon my killjoy-ness, but I have never met a brussels sprout I liked.
Nothing personal but....Ack.

Don't close your mind yet. I can attest Stu Knows Sprouts. In any case, if you are ever in SF, head to Lulu's and order the pan-fried Brussels Sprouts. They changed my formerly dim view of sprouts forever.

Hm.

This would be comparable to changing me into a republican.

Let's just say I have my doubts, OK?
