What's for dinner tonight?

I was fortunate enough to find a couple nice turkey thighs at Whole Foods last week. I roasted both last week. One thigh was was enough for the two of us, so I had leftovers. But I also had a plan! So tonight I'm making Robin's Turkey Pot-Pie Stew.

Uugghh...You caught me the one night I'm not cooking this week. Since we're packing up Tony's place in Santa Rosa (to move him down here), we'll probably do take-out pizza or Thai food.

If you'd asked "what's for dinner" yesterday, it was an asparagus, broccoli and sun-dried tomato pizza. And, that's what's for lunch today too!

What, you didn't have goat cheese left over?

Tonight I think I'll continue a theme and do pasta with artichoke, Meyer lemon, and snap peas. Maybe Greek it up a bit.

We've been getting some very nice asparagus and shallots in the markets lately so some dish with asparagus - risotto or pasta.

Thick beef filets on the Webber and a real nice bottle of red wine from the over $50 range. Why this on a Tuesday you may ask? - My son's home from college for a few days and that justifies almost anything!

Here, a roasted filet of fresh halibut belly with a crab bisque sauce over mashed potatoes will follow a salad of baby spinach, raw peas and chevre tossed with but meyer lemon juice and EVOO. Sauvignon blanc will be our wine.

Tandoori Chicken, Greek roasted potatoes, cold marinated asparagus, simple green salad with baby lettuces, chives, parsley, oregano, from my garden.

I know! You used it all. However, there was tons of other cheeses to choose from!

Horseradish crusted salmon (MR)in a lemon dill sauce with roasted sweet potatoes, broccoli, and glazed carrots. Chocolate stout brownie with butter pecan ice cream for dessert.
