Registration Policy - Important

by Cynthia Wenslow » Wed Jul 30, 2008 11:27 am

This is just a reminder that, as noted on the registration page, here at WLDG we have a Real Name Real Format policy. We do not activate "screen names" or "handles." User names must be in the format John Doe or John D. Registrations with first name only will not be activated.

Registering with a conforming user name makes the process of getting activated fast and painless!

If you have tried to register with a non-conforming user name and have not been activated, this is undoubtedly the reason. Please contact me at wldg.admin@gmail.com, letting me know what user name you registered under so that I can find your account. Also make sure you tell me what your Real Name is so that your user name can be corrected and we can welcome you to WLDG! :D

Hear, hear. It annoys me when I'm talking to someone and I don't know their name.

I want to know if Cynthia Wenslow is your real name. There's a rumor that you're really Sheila Schwanzbender.

I believe you're Howard J. Hart who lives in N. T********* with J., T., and D. You have a long driveway. And you're a bit younger (HS class of '67). Any rulers on knuckles or were you good?

Close. No middle name. When I was in Catholic HS they insisted that I have a middle name, so my confirmation name was inserted by the school. However, I never legally had a middle name and I never used a middle initial. Then, in 1997, when I was chairman if our 30-year reunion committee, the school compiled a database of all the alumni and included the middle initial in my name from the old school files. They then sold the database and for the past 11 years, I've received junk mail addressed to Howard J. Hart. Only T. lives with me right now, but J. and D. live within 5 miles, however, I do still get some of their mail. My long driveway needs resurfacing and I still have scars on my knuckles. You almost know me better than I do. Simply amazing!
