I made this tonight to go with a lamb stew and mashed potatoes on an unseasonably cool, wet day. The original post is here.

It came out beautifully, both visually striking and delicious. The couple we had over for the evening loved it.

This one's highly recommended. It's not hard to make (assuming you use packaged puff pastry), it's relatively quick, and it comes out beautifully.

Mike, thanks for the report. Isn't it lovely? What kind of tart pan did you use, I remember you having questions.

I went with your recommendation and used a skillet, Jenise. I had a short moment when it was inverted over a platter and refusing to release, but the edge of a spatula fixed that.
