Anyone besides me perused this book yet? I just got it and haven't had a chance to cook anything out of it yet, but I see a lot that I would like to try soon. The book progresses through the seasons, with each section emphasizing whatever ingredients are available fresh and locally (North Carolina and surrounds) during each season.
I haven't seen it, but I'd like to. It sounds like what Mary and I try to do, especially in season ... just got in from the farmers' market, in fact, with a big bag of local meat, bread and veggies.
In disclosure, anyone who buys the book through this link will not only get a 42% discount ($20.16, down from list $35) but will toss a few pence into the begging bowl to help us pay the rent on the WLDG clubhouse.
