On Saturday night, I ate the first devilled egg of my life.
Two days have passed, and I'm still alive!
My wine shopping and I have never had a problem. Just a perpetual race between the bankruptcy court and Hell.--Rogov

There is obviously a backstory!

"...To undersalt deliberately in the name of dietary chic is to omit from the music of cookery the indispensable bass line over which all tastes and smells form their harmonies." -- Robert Farrar Capon

Deviled eggs are nature's gift. But they have to be made from local pastured eggs, of course. Industrial eggs are little balls of death and ashes.

Just that I've been such a wuss about eggs. You've probably heard me say this before, but elementary school sex ed really did a number on me and I only just started eating eggs in any form about two years ago. I've regarded devilled eggs with particular suspicion, since they contain mayo and all. .

It's a slippery slope. You're already halfway to a BLT-extra mayo!
Did you enjoy it?

No no NEVER! To the extent I may accept mayo in small doses, like a binder in a tuna salad, I love my dry sandwiches and will always have zero tolerance for seeing pus oozing off the bread.
