Newcomers

In reading the forum this evening I spy several new names. Instead of doing this in several threads, I thought I would start a thread of my own, and issue one big WELCOME to you all.

I second that motion and was pleased to note that at least one new member joined us in tangentially-wine-related-chat last night! 8)

I talked about wine, but I wasn't in chat. I had to choose between cheap Chianti's at Milano's, an Italian restaurant run by Persians and staffed by Mexicans, where I took Zari for our V-Day din-din which was really tasty. The Chianti was so-so, but the German Sekt with strawberries in it later at my place was divine.

Are we supposed to talk about wine in chat? You shouldn't give the newcomers the wrong impression.
And now what?

Gary, having a hot date is no excuse for missing chat night !

I'm sure Howie mentioned that he was drinking something...

Quite the interesting discussion going on, entertaining in value, and a touch of cynical. Thanks for the welcome.

It's actually the only excuse.
