Wish me luck, gang

by Larry Greenly » Wed Feb 21, 2007 11:37 pm

A surgeon and I have a rendevous on a cold table tomorrow morning, and I ate homemade pizza tonight for my last meal. Hopefully, I'll be back by Friday.

Write this down: growing old is not for sissies. :!:

Hope it's nothing serious, Larry. Hey, growing old beats the alternative.

Many good wishes and get well soons!
I can certainly see that you know your wine. Most of the guests who stay here wouldn't know the difference between Bordeaux and Claret.

Larry, it's too late to send good thoughts with you (I only saw your note Thursday morning), so here's something for you to find on your return. You WILL return. :)

Take care.

Homemade pizza the night before. You got spunk. You'll be fine. Let us know how everything went--I particularly want to know what event the pizza may have created...

I'm baaack!

My cystolithotripsy went well and no tumor. The surgeon was great, but I suppose I bought him a couple of hubcaps for his Mercedes with what we paid.

I don't remember anything after they pumped in a "Margarita" into my vein (good stuff). My wife didn't get a chance to use my living will and I'm not supposed to drink alcohol for the next five days--bummer. Other than being tired and walking a little gingerly, I'm okay. So you're still stuck with me.

Obligatory food message: I'm going to make some more pizza tonight with the final portion of leftover dough.
