I'll be in Hartford Saturday for a birthday party. I think the party ends early enough to be able to go out to dinner. Any suggestions - steakhouse, seafood, anything with a good wine list?

Hi Jon,
Recommend Max's Oyster Bar in West Hartford. When in New England eat seafood if possible. Max has restaurants all over the place in the area, but I think this is only fish and wine place. 964 Farmington Av, 860-236-6299.

Thank you for the recommendation. We ended up having a dinner as part of the party we attended. I did print out your post, however, as we'll be up there in April.
