Watched three episodes on Netflix last night. To tell the truth, they were pretty painful.

1) Host is some model/actress, not herself a culinary expert. Why waste that role on arm candy?
2) Only two judges, though Kelsey and Carlton both know what they're talking about. Kelsey more than Carlton, who I recognize from the wine industry, not food world per se.
3) Some of the contestants are pretty weak, don't seem that talented. Not talented enough to be in the running for a half million dollar prize anyway.
4) I feel sorry watching the CIA staff, who maybe make $150K a year themselves, mentoring sub-par talent for such a huge prize when anyone of them can outcook the contestants (most likely).

Anyone else with opinions?
My wine shopping and I have never had a problem. Just a perpetual race between the bankruptcy court and Hell.--Rogov
