Anyone watching Breaking Bread on CNN?

I watched two episodes, and Tony's a sweetheart of a guy, but I'm not feeling compelled to stay with it. Anyone else having a different experience?

I agree. This bread lover didn’t make it past one or two episodes. I had the impression he (or someone) saw the success of his “Big Night“ co-star Stanley Tucci’s “Searching for Italy” series and is attempting to emulate that.

I think you're close. My understanding though is that it's about Stanley's series being so successful that he volunteered to produce more shows like it (starring his friends), hence Eva Longoria's series about Mexico and Spain, and now this.
