Unrefined Mineral Salt

by Karen/NoCA » Sat Nov 22, 2025 10:57 am

I was searching through my spices and herbs this morning and came across a sack of Real Salt harvested from a layer of protective ash near Redmond, Utah. Wow, what a difference...it has a subtle, sweet flavor unlike any other salt I've tried. I'm not sure where it came from - perhaps gifted, or a purchase from one of our travels. Does anyone else have experience with this product?

Not one that I've heard of. We have a bunch of fancy salt from foreign countries but none that I know of from the US.
