2004 Vollenweider Wolfer Goldgrube Riesling Kabinett - Germany, Mosel Saar Ruwer (12/30/2013)My last bottle of this wine, and in a really great place. There's a bit of Riesling petrol, but just a little. Mostly it's a ripe apple, stone and smoke combination with bracing acidity and a long finish. It's really hard to put down the glass, as the wine is so mouthwatering that it just begs for me to take the next sip.
