2013 Pian dell'Orino Rosso di Montalcino - Italy, Tuscany, Montalcino, Rosso di Montalcino (10/16/2018)Still showing a fair dose of bright red fruit, but also a little bit of earthy development. The overall profile has rounded out a bit, making it more enjoyable on its own, while still retaining enough brightness to work with rich food. This is in a very nice place now.

I can't really explain it, but like Michelaneglo said at the Hollywood Bowl, "the fat one balances the two skinny ones."
