TN: 2012 Dr. von Bassermann-Jordan Ruppertsberg Reiterpfad Riesling Trocken, Pfalz.
My first bottle of two purchased 3 yrs ago. 12% alc, SC, #48:13, $29 Cdn or thereabouts
Medium green-yellow in color. Took a while to open up on the nose but apple and mineral tones with a hint of grapefruit maybe?
Initial entry thought was short finish, pretty dry, not too complex. Wow..did this change after two hours! Better length, shows more fruit but still dryish. Day 2 showed some sweetness not apparent on day of opening...apple, lemon, peach, hint of sweet spice. Would not keep second bottle too long I think.
...Deidesheimer and Jesuitengarten more valued sites maybe?
